WE WILL NOT BE DELIVERING PACKAGES TO THE FRONT RANGE THIS YEAR
We will once again be making our packages here in Colorado. This means, of coarse that they will not be ready until May. However, there have been lots of packaged bees over the years succumb to the late April snow storm. Building the packages here in Colorado assures quality and low stress, by eliminating days of travel and exposure to heat and cold. As always I am limited on labor so we will only be able to make one hundred of these packages. 3lbs of bees with Italian-based queen.
THESE WILL BE FOR PICK-UP ONLY IN ALAMOSA Tentatively SUNDAY, MAY 14, 2017
Full refund (minus $10 booking fee) will be issued to cancelations two weeks prior to this date.

Tremendously happy with these girls so far! Only a week out and 5 frames of drawn comb with larvae/eggs on 3 of them! YES IN A WEEK! Tiny bees tho, wondering if small cell foundation was used or?

We bought a nuk this spring to put into our flow hive. We're noobee's when it comes to bee keeping, so we had a lot of questions when we went to pick up our nuk. Service was very friendly and full of great advice and pointers! We would definitely recommend Grandpa's honey to anyone looking to start a hive!

Easy install tip from Brent made installation a snap. Bees seem to be very happy already laying eggs

We have purchased 4 packages (1 2013 and 3 2014) from Grampa's and they have been excellent. No die offs and very productive. If you need high mountain bees these are the folks.

The bees I ordered from Grampa's Gourmet Bees were shipped timely to S/E Kansas. They were helpful answering all of my questions. I would purchase from this company again.

We had a lot of fun receiving and giving our bee package. It was our first time keeping bees. This package was easy to use, the bees were mellow, the queen and colony adapted quickly to their new home. Everything went more smoothly than I could have hoped. The package arrived on time and in good condition.

Enjoyed the low stress environment in picking up the bees. Great location and well organized. Also received some wise advice. I will recommend Grampa's Gourmet to my friends. Now the exciting time in having honey bees.
